We are wired for connection

I am Carina (she/her), a licensed mental health counselor in Washington State. My office is in Seattle just a couple blocks away from the Capitol Hill lightrail station.

I grew up in the Midwest in a beautiful place surrounded by water and transplanted to the Pacific Northwest, another beautiful place surrounded by water, over twenty years ago.

I have been working as a mental health counselor in private practice since 2021 and hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from Antioch University.

When I am not working with clients I enjoy cooking, reading, writing, and sharing stories. I also like to cold plunge, swim, and take long walks around the city and in the beautiful parks and forests that surround Seattle. 

Attachment Theory is at the foundation of my therapeutic approach and I specialize in working with individuals on attachment trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, living in recovery, ambiguous loss and grief, and fostering healthy relationships.
